The Ø is the mark.
A living aurora behind frosted glass. Colour lives in the atmosphere; tiles are panes over it; ink and small hue pops carry the data. The age number is always ink — colour never grades.
The mark
wordmark · iconSF Pro Display, bold, tracked 6 %. The slash is drawn through the O at −38°, never the Ø glyph. Set in caps only; never “Bios”.
The icon is a flat aurora orb on its own ground — no slash, no gloss, no border. Always inside the iOS squircle. Minimum 24 px.
“BIOS” in running text. “BIOS Age” for the number — never “biological age” in a heading, never “score”.

Three aurora blobs drift on 14, 19 and 25-second cycles, out and back once each, then hold — the way a sky does. Uncertainty holds still. Reduce Motion and Low Power freeze it outright. This page’s background is the demonstration.
Voice
It never grades you. No streaks, no badges, no congratulations, no advice it cannot source. Colour identifies a reading; it never says good or bad.
The four laws
- 01Hue identifies a metric. It never grades. No red-bad, no green-good. The age number is always ink.
- 02Confidence is a visual state — crisp, hazy, or absent — never a number a view invents.
- 03Absence is drawn as absence — a dashed void and an em-dash, never a zero-height bar.
- 04Every reading states its tolerance or sample size beside it, in mono.
